February 28th Economic Blackout Day
It's time to take a stand against the current presidental administration high prices and rolling back of DEI
I am sure most of you guys are aware that February 28th is economic blackout day. But for those that aren’t this is an attempt to protest the recent high inflation costs that have been perpetuated by this current American presidential administration. This unfortunately has led to the wealthy elite getting richer and the bottom 99% continuing to suffer to keep up with the high prices. This was inspired by the current presidential administration rolling back on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) policies with an executive order. The companies that have followed this include Amazon, Ford, Target, Walmart, Google and many more.
I want to encourage everyone to participate in economic blackout day on February 28th! This could be a mini wake up call to the government that the American citizens don’t have to give in to consumer spending. Let’s send the government a very clear message that raising prices to unreasonable levels will lead to less purchases by consumers! Now, one protest might not work right away to get the government to decrease these prices. However, this can be one small step of resisting this presidential administration that very clearly wants to control the average American citizen with these high prices. This can put the power back in our hands!! And send the government a message that WE the American people have the power to resist government control!
What to do on Economic Blackout Day
NO purchasing from any of the major retailers (including Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.)
In addition, do not spend any money on fast food restaurants and gas.
Support local and small businesses by spending money at these businesses. \
Let’s send a clear message to the current presidential administration that WE WILL not tolerate this outdated capitalistic system!!
